Cleopatra’s Bay (Sedir Adasi), Gulet Holidays in Turkey
It is claimed that Mark Antony brought the sand to Cleopatra’s Bay especially from Egypt for his bride, Cleopatra, and that they spent their honeymoon here. Certainly, Cleopatra’s Bay or Sedir Adasi in Turkish, is an idyllic spot with its fine sand and clear waters framed by palm trees. Partially submerged ruins of ancient Baths can be seen but they almost certainly date from long after Cleopatra’s time.
