Kas, Gulet Holidays in Turkey
Kas is a relaxed Mediterranean harbour town with its traditional tea garden and tiny, whitewashed mosque. The name ‘Kas’ means ‘eyebrow’ in Turkish, a reference to the curved shape of the picturesque harbour. The narrow streets of Kas are overlooked by Lycian rock tombs and, wandering them you may well stumble on an ancient sarcophagus, a relic of the ancient city of Antiphellos, whose theatre also remains.
