Anatolian Sky is a specialist in holidays in Turkey, offering only the best of this captivating destination. Whether you choose to stay in a private villa or charming boutique hotel, Turkey is sure to enchant you.

Turkey boasts beautiful, pristine beaches, unspoilt villages, undiscovered coves and bays, clear turquoise waters and breathtaking scenery. There are said to be more Greek ruins in Turkey than in Greece itself, and indeed more Roman ruins than in Italy, so wherever you choose to spend your holiday in Turkey you are sure to be within easy reach of one of the many fascinating ancient sites. Travel along roads that great warriors, colourful silk caravans and couriers of mail or secret treaties passed along many centuries before. Follow in the footsteps of St. Paul or visit the birthplace of the real Father Christmas, St. Nicholas.

Eating out is sure to be a highlight of your Turkey holiday. The Turkish cuisine is cooked from fresh, local ingredients and prices are reasonable in local restaurants. The shopping experience too takes on a whole new meaning on holiday in Turkey, and once you have lost your inhibitions, you will find that bartering over a cup of hot apple tea is half the fun of the purchase.

Whether your idea of relaxation is playing golf or sailing on a traditional gulet, paragliding or simply soaking up the sun with a good book, we can find you the perfect way to holiday in Turkey. In our family-run and boutique hotels, Turkey’s renowned hospitality comes as part of the package.

For the Turks, a meal is a social event, so you can relax and take your time over your food, which is sure to be one of the highlights of your holiday. An evening meal begins with the ‘meze’, lots of small plates of hot and cold starters, which can almost be a meal in themselves. There are more types of kebab than you have ever imagined, made from succulent meat and a huge variety of fish and seafood available in most seaside resorts, freshly caught that day. To accompany your meal try the excellent local wine, the refreshing lager, Efes, or the national tipple, raki. You should round off your meal with a cup of thick, sweet Turkish coffee and a morsel of the world-famous Turkish Delight.

Breakfast in most Turkish hotels is fresh white bread, crumbly ‘white’ cheese, (similar to feta), olives, jam or honey and often tomatoes and cucumber, which is traditionally washed down with strong, sweet black tea, served in a glass.
