The Ottoman Residence, set on Akyaka’s Azmak river, amidst orange groves and fragrant pine trees, is a firm favourite with our guests. It is hard to imagine a more idyllic setting than that enjoyed by the Ottoman Residence. Akyaka, with its fine, sandy beach, is only 10 minutes’ walk away. The Ottoman Residence is built predominantly from wood in the traditional local Mugla style, its design reminiscent of an Ottoman Han. The authentic-style rooms overlook a central courtyard with a water feature and a translucent roof allowing light to flood in. The pool at the Ottoman Residence overlooks Akyaka’s Azmak river – the perfect spot to unwind.

The Ottoman Residence does not cater for children under 12.

Ottoman Residence Rooms: 17 Standard, 18 Duplex and 4 Superior

All 39 rooms have: air conditioning, fan, mini bar, telephone, TV, kettle, safety deposit box (at a charge), en suite shower and WC with hairdryer and balcony with views over eucalyptus trees or orange groves. The balconies in the first floor rooms are small French Balconies.

The Duplex rooms: situated on the top floor are set on two floors with a seating area (with sofa bed), shower and WC downstairs. There sleep three people. The bedroom is upstairs and is reached by open steps.

Superior rooms: are more spacious and feature a fireplace and Jacuzzi bath, ideal for honeymoons.

Ottoman Residence Facilities: Swimming pool (pool towels provided), Riverside setting, Bar, Restaurant, Wireless internet access, Library, Turkish nargile (water-pipe) café, fire place. The hotel will exchange travellers’ cheques without charging commission.

Facilities subject to charge include: Sauna, Massage, Safety deposit box in rooms.

Transfer & Distances: 1 hour transfer from Dalaman airport, 10 minute riverside walk to Akyaka and the beach, 5 minutes from nearest shop.
