Holidays in Sarigerme

Perfect for laid-back beach-lovers, this charming resort has it all: golden sand, stunning scenery, not to mention a convenient location.

Hilton Dalaman Resort & Spa, Sarigerme Ultra All Inclusive
A stylish, contemporary hotel in a stunning setting on a golden sandy beach, with a beautiful mountain backdrop.

Perfect for laid-back beach-lovers, this charming resort has it all: golden sand, stunning scenery, not to mention a convenient location.

Sarigerme used to be the name of the beach, but gradually the name of the village, Osmaniye, seems to have become secondary and the resort has simply become known as Sarigerme. It is not surprising really, as any holiday here is all about the beach – a long stretch of soft, golden sand.

Location too has been key in increasing the popularity of this stunning spot. It is just 15 minutes from Dalaman airport, allowing for super-speedy transfer times. The towns of Ortaca, Dalaman and Fethiye are within easy reach. Or, why not take a boat trip from the wide bay to visit the beautiful 12 islands?

Sarigerme iself is a very small village, consisting of just the one street. This has shops, bars and restaurants as well as a chemist and a post office. It is nice for a change of scenery, and the Hilton Dalaman Resort and Spa is, in any case, more like a resort in its own right than a hotel. As you head towards Dalaman airport, you pass through beautiful countryside where there are citrus trees and crops growing. Once you leave Sarigerme the area is very rural. There is a small market in Sarigerme on Sundays.

Although this, is worth a visit, if you want to experience the atmosphere of a real local market you are probably better off heading to Mugla on a Thursday, where you will see where the locals stock up on fruit, vegetables and spices.

Dalyan, with its beautiful river estuary and stunning beach is just 30 minutes drive away, and there is lots of interest in the vicinity so you will also find plenty to do on days out – assuming, that is, that you actually feel the need to leave the Hilton Resort & Spa Hotel behind.

Sarigerme has everything you need for a classic sun, sea and sand holiday with entertainment and facilities to keep all the family happy.

In and Around Sarigerme

Fethiye Market tour
Fethiye itself is a charming traditional harbour town where the everyday hustle and bustle of fishermen, sailors and tradesmen go about their business. After visiting the biggest gold centre in Fethiye, try out your bargaining skills at the huge market. Enjoy a meal at a traditional restaurant in the atmospheric village of Kayaköy, the setting for Louis de Bernieres’ novel, ‘Birds without Wings’.

Ephesus and Pamukkale - 2 days
See two of Turkey’s most famous sights. Ephesus is the best preserved of Turkey’s historic sites where you can follow in the footsteps of the Virgin Mary, St. Paul, Antony and Cleopatra. Visit the remains of the Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, wander the grand streets and marvel at the Great Theatre, which seats 25,000 spectators. Pamukkale literally translated as the ‘cotton castle’ appears from a distance as a shimmering, white fairytale castle. Created by limestone laden thermal springs, mineral deposits have transformed cascading waterfalls into stalactites and a magical landscape of white rocks and shallow pools.

Discover Dalyan - Boat Trip & Mud Baths
Undoubtedly one of our most popular excursions in Dalyan is the boat trip to the Sultaniye thermal spring and mud baths.Wallow in the mineral-rich mud, bake in the sun and then wash it all off in the warm, sulpher pool. Nature's very own spa treatment will leave your skin feeling babysoft.
