Food on board our Gulets

Breakfast on board will usually be a traditional Turkish breakfast which is the perfect start to a lazy day in the sun. This usually consists of fresh white bread, butter, jam, honey, crumbly ‘white’ cheese, similar to feta, ‘yellow’ cheese, which is a hard cheese, together with egg, tomato and cucumber. Breakfast is washed down with strong Turkish tea, coffee or milk.

The chefs have carefully prepared a seven day menu from the best of Turkish cuisine, serving a different mouth-watering delicacy each day.

Lunch is usually a light meal, which most people prefer in the heat of the day. It includes Turkish meze type dishes, which are mostly vegetarian, usually accompanied by pasta, rice or chips and followed by fresh fruit. The evening meal is the main meal of the day and will be based around fish or meat dishes.
There is no problem in catering for vegetarians, although it does help if you can let us know in advance so that the chef can make sure that they have the necessary provisions to cater for you. If you have any other special dietary requirements then please do let us know, although you should bear in mind that the restrictions of cooking on board mean that there is a limit to the number of different dishes which can be prepared.

Drinks
Water, soft drinks, tea and coffee are all included in the price of your holiday. Alcoholic drinks can be purchased from the bar on board and the captain will always make you aware of prices at the beginning of your holiday. Please note that you are not allowed to consume your own drinks on board including duty free purchases.
