A rarity amongst 36 hole complexes, The Pasha course at Antalya Golf Club offers almost as exciting a challenge as its senior partner, The Sultan. Shorter in length and more generous from the tee, golfers could be forgiven for assuming that the course lacks any defence. However, golfers adept to the subtleties and nuances of golf will relish the tactical battle.

In The Pasha course, architect David Jones has allowed golfers a little more leeway for the odd wayward shot. However, severely undulating greens, which can be lightening fast, place a premium on accuracy from the tee. An out of position tee shot will invariably leave the golfer needing to execute an exceptional approach shot to finish within a regulation two putt area of the hole. There are many outstanding holes, but two which linger in the mind are the par 5 13th, with a lake stretching from tee to green along the right hand side and the longest par 4, the 15th, with the same lake now extending laterally along the left hand side, both holes sharing the same undulating double green. This is a fun course to play for all standards of golfer with a profusion of stunning views of the Taurus Mountains as a backdrop.

Prices for a round of golf start at £45
